Welcome to 3rd Hartford Brownies!

We are a thriving Brownie unit within the village of Hartford, Cheshire. We are part of Cheshire Forest Guiding, a County within Girlguiding UK. Brownies are the second section of Girlguiding and is for girls aged between 7 and 10 years old.

 

We take a wide variety of girls from within the Hartford area from all different schools and we pride ourselves on the lovely atmosphere the girls create, regardless of whether they know each other from school or not.

 

We are a very active unit, making the most of the summers outside, local resources and providing girls with unique experiences and opportunities to push their comfort zones, whilst in a caring and nurturing environment. Our girls get the chance to go on 'Pack Holiday' twice a year, with the 'Summer Sleepover' at our local Guiding Centre, Pettypool, and our main holiday in October at a venue such as JCA Condover Hall. We also support our girls in gaining Brownie Skills Builders, Theme Awards and Brownie Gold Awards each term within the unit. The girls enjoy the range of trips we provide them with. Previous trips have been to places like Round Ponds Adventures in Frodsham, Theatre trips and Inflatanation.  Every 3 years we perform at the Grange theatre to our family and friends.  Previous productions include Matilda and Brownies Rock Broadway

 

Please note we only have a few places left for 2024. So please make sure you get your daughter down well before she turns 7. We can't guarantee your daughter will get a place in our Unit but we do have other Units in the local area who might have spaces.
